Twenty members from the Made in Yorkshire family joined today’s Virtual Breakfast morning with Portakabin. The event began bright and early at 9 am, with manufacturers joining from across the Yorkshire region to network.
While the current situation may have undoubtedly brought with it some unprecedented challenges, the resilience and enthusiasm of the Yorkshire Manufacturing sector could be seen and heard clearly through the positivity of our members in attendance.
Portakabin, which innovates, develops and delivers exceptional buildings, solving space problems and opening up possibilities for a vast variety of organisations, large and small, hosted this Virtual Breakfast morning and began the event by giving the MiY Family insight into what the company does, and how it works.
This virtual event began with an introduction from Matthew Stevens from Portakabin.
The Made in Yorkshire team then placed attendees into two 15-minute breakout groups of 4 members each, allowing them to have more personalised conversations in smaller groups with discussions around working from home to the supply chain and how companies are implementing software among the topics discussed.
